The family has seen abang's(brother) girlfriend quite frequently. And as a very responsible thing my parents would say, they ask them to get married, even if they're not financially equipped.
Last weekend, we had a lunch treat by FSIL(future sis-in-law). And she broke out a big news to us (excl. abang) that she'd just converted Islam. T'was surprising, considering that we all assumed she's one of us. But it shows how much she's serious about this.
I came back early from work today. Mom&dad were discussing about FSIL. They were asking my opinion on having FSIL staying together. And they list out various reasons/answers before i could speak up.
One thing, is not that they would divert their attention away from me. (ps. i still have curfew)
2nd, they are able to guide her religiously instead of harboring all the sins to abang.
and so on.
And me on the other hand, i am selfishly thinking about myself. See, I don't have any other siblings than abang. That itself, we almost never talk to each other. So, having FSIL in tha house will be like a breath of fresh air. All i could think about having her staying together with us is that, i have lesser house chores to do. And, she could spare some of the household items as well. Yes, i'm selfish like that.
But the conversation with my parents about FSIL quickly diverted to me. Coz i've been going out since... forever? I never invited Ali to any family dinners except for Hari Raya visits. And I have never met his extended family. We just can't confirm anything coz he's still schooling. But my mom got my back every time relatives asked about it. Especially with dad, who just can't tone down the topic.

Anyhoo's, in a topic of having a new addition to the family, i adopted a kitty! (photos will be uploaded later, coz for some reason my hard drive is not cooperating with the iMac)
It was the 2nd week of January of this year, when i was still cat nanny-ing my aunt's cats, i crossed path with this small black feline crouching near a ac vent under my aunt's flat. He was badly infested with lice. And he was about 6 weeks old and needed some medical treatment. Basically, i spent all my dollars and dime for the first 3 months for this kitty. And aunt was very nice to help me bring him for a check-up.
Now, 4 months old Felix, very mischevious. Helicopter sound of purr. And clumsy.
Also, i think it was time for the family to get a new furball. Though it is still hard not to think about Casper. She was very feminine, graceful, yet vex. On the day when Casper died, i refused to see her, only because i didn't want to think she was dead to me.
Quote of the day:"When one door closes, another door opens."
